The founder of AtticBoard started an insulation business years ago, and after spending way too much time tip-toeing around peoples' attics, decided that there must be a better way. Trying to navigate an attic by walking on joists, or bringing big, cumbersome and splintery plywood to lay down up there - just wasn't cutting it. After much experimentation, the AtticBoard was born.

The Original AtticBoard is designed for home services professionals and home owners alike - allowing you to navigate an attic safely and with ease. It is designed to be laid over two 24-inch on-center joists or three 16-inch on-center joists lengthwise, and can also span two 16-inch on-center joists widthwise. It can hold up to 700 pounds, and is made out of 100% recycled polymers that can withstand the extreme temperatures of an attic.
